The Goal and the Field:

The Journal of Information Science and Technology (JIS&T) is a peer-reviewed open-access journal. It is designed as a specialized research journal that serves diverse areas of specialization. It provides academic researchers, professionals, graduate students, and others interested in library activities, information studies, knowledge management, data management, information systems, networks, social communication, user search behavior, smart applications, and emerging trends in the field, as well as other areas related to the broad concept of content management and its institutions, with valuable resources from various perspectives

• It was established with the aim of publishing original and professionally crafted research studies in both English and Arabic. JIS&T is the official journal of the Special Libraries Association / Arabian Gulf Chapter (SLA/AG) and is published by the Hamad Bin Khalifa University Press. Article processing charges (APC) are funded by the SLA/AG in case research studies are accepted for publication.
